ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
When I used a computer for the first time, the first thing I did was launch paint. I was THAT kid. The first app I ever downloaded was Picasso. I used to put stars on all my photos and edit them with purple borders. When I was 13, I took all my favorite verses from my favorite songs and put them on funky backgrounds. I started writing because of a thing called a “caption”.
I’m 25 now and I think my life hasn’t changed much. The apps have upgraded, so has my laptop but it seems I do this for a living now.

I started designing in my Final year of Undergrad, and it was supposed to be just to satiate my intrigue. So I kept designing, I threw some stuff around, made a "Friends" themed ludo, made a board game, some playing cards inspired by Game of Thrones, and soon I found myself being offered a job as a social media manager just after the lockdown was over which I accepted as a freelancer.
A year of running a lot of accounts, designing a lot of websites, and directing way too many shoots. However, I found myself a burning the candle at both ends soon enough. After much contemplation, I knew it was time to scale up & skill up, so I took a little break.
And hence, JLT was born, on 25th October, 2021. Before I had launched this design studio, all of the work that I spent my time doing was just happenstance. I thought of it as my good fortune but never thought about it enough to rent a commercial space, let alone paying taxes. But now, JLT is all I can think about, at least during working hours.
